The whole rig gets a foam wash from the roof line down, then it is hand dried so the desert water does not leave spots down the sides and on the glass. We come to where it is parked, at the RV park, the storage lot or your driveway, and if you want it washed without brushes, just say so.
Our wash starts with a rinse from the roof down to knock off loose dust before anything touches the finish. Then we hand wash the body panel by panel with a mild soap, rinsing as we go so suds never dry on hot fiberglass. Forest River's owner manual recommends a monthly wash with warm water and a mild detergent and says bird droppings, tree sap, insects and tar should come off right away to avoid staining, so we give those spots extra attention.
Hand drying is the part most drive-through washes skip. In the Arizona sun, water left on the sidewalls, windows and chrome dries in place and leaves spots behind. We dry the whole rig by hand with clean microfiber, including door jambs, window frames and the lower skirting where water runs. If you would rather we skip brushes and work with mitts and towels only, just say so and we will wash it that way.
Before we pack up, we dress the tires and the black rubber and plastic trim so they look rich again instead of gray. Then we walk all the way around the rig and look at it from different angles to catch any streaks or missed spots. This service works for Class A and Class C motorhomes, fifth wheels, toy haulers and travel trailers, and we can wash the tow pickup in the same visit.

Water that is left to dry on its own in strong sun leaves spots on paint, gel coat and glass. Drying by hand with microfiber removes the water before it can spot.
